PROGRAMS

Starting in 2018, Ha Ha's HERO Foundation will launch this annual program to provide economically-challenged high school students with a voice of motivation, empowerment and encouragement so they can change the game by achieving academic excellence, identifying personal gifts and talents, developing personal skills to make positive decisions and to avoid high-risk behavior.

Ha Ha's HERO Headquarters are placed in Title I schools and community centers to provide economically-challenged elementary and high school students with books and technology tools. Phase I will encourage K-5 students to embrace personal reading and literacy improvement. Ha Ha’s HERO Headquarters transforms an unused or underutilized classroom or area in a school into a reading oasis. Ha Ha’s HERO Headquarters includes 600 age appropriate books and a comfortable space to read filled with fun beanbags, carpets and chairs all in the hope to inspire kids to grow in their learning, education, and reading.

January 2018 - The first Ha Ha's HERO Headquarters was launched at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School in Milwaukee. Ha Ha's HERO Headquarters was made possible by the generous support of Quarles & Brady.
